Unhappy DIYers help? headliner

Ok so here's the deal I was going to do the DIY for the headliner but it didn't turn out quite the way I wanted to and I don't think it'll last so I'm going a different route (fiberglass and paint). I'm not going to give false information So my question is should I post tips on how to/not to do this or is there no one who wants to do this? And if you do what do you want to know?

I can help you out with the DIY also if you want. I have wrapped many headliners between my cars and when I was working at custom stereo shops

I did try that but I never put it in the car. I knew it wouldn't work as soon as I sprayed it on there. I tryed a few other adhesives but nothing was working. I gave up and thought It would look better painted
