I have the euro effects blue 8,500 k in my balt, which they have 4 diffrent colors yellow, green, blue and purple. i previously had a 2000 sunfire gt and i had these bulbs in that car for 3 years and they looked the same from the day i bought it to the day it got totaled. I seen them at a booth at the Detroit autorama about 4 years ago and bought them at the booth for $20. i found them on e-bay shipped for $23. like was said earlier halogen lights get really hot do not touch the glass when installing bulbs. if for some reason which there shouldn't be any to touch the glass when installing, use a paper towel. oh and one other thing just save up the 25 dollars. there are some things that are diy and some that aren't.

Yea they are. If you have any light resembling that of an emergency vehicle facing outward of your vehicle then it is considered illegal. Whether or not a cop will actually write you that ticket depends on how strict they are.

I love HID's, but have read from several sources (including a vendor of aftermarket HID's) that they are illegal if installed aftermarket. HID's are legal ONLY if they were installed at the factory when the car was built. I have a 50 mile commute, mostly at night, and would love to have them on my Cobalt, but am afraid of what the penalty is if I were stopped by Law Enforcement.
