It must be part of the mat GM# 25796183 since #9 reads Absorber clip.

#9 pops up this on ebay and that's not it.

    Coby7,

Thanks again for your help in the past (was private messaging) on fixing the key fob.

Now I require the (hopefully) quickest of assistance from you again. I have looked and scoured, and to no avail, I cannot find the name or part number to a part I require. I see diagrams (like this GM OEM Interior-Rear-Trunk Mat 25796183 | eBay) that I cannot find a complete parts list to. I think I need part 9 in that diagram. It is the part that hangs the trunk mat so you can access the spare or battery. I broke mine by not moving junk in the trunk out of the way before lifting it.

    Thank you

Hello Coby, I'm a fellow cobalt owner, and I have a bit of a problem with my aftermarket head unit. I bought a PAC harness for the Chevy Cobalt Ls and for some reason it doesn't chime at all and my factory radio doesn't turn on at all either. This is the second harness that I've purchased and it still doen't work. I checked where you said in one post that your RAP relay is behind the BCM and when I look back there, there's not even a relay at all.

Hello, I didn't want to start a whole new thread but will if necessary. I actually have a Saturn Aura XE but this post is relevant for me:
    http://www.yourcobalt.com/forums/pro...ml#post1083513

The thread has been closed for some time...

Someone replaced the Cam Actuator Solenoids on my wife's Aura but broke the connectors on the wiring harness, so they don't stay attached properly. There are many ways to hack this, but I was wondering (since I don't have a proper part number) if you would have the pigtail connector part numbers... they are different for intake and exhaust, but indeed look identical in wire color and form/fit/function to my Aura application.

    Thanks in advance.

    Say Coby7

I was just about to ask. Could post that image you posted showing the body ground points / wiring harness.
I cant seem to find it and i know you posted it.
Stumbled upon it while looking for the heater fan ground on daughters 05 base.
It was a GM tech manual drawing showing ground circuit number. It was inside cab wiring loom layout

    Coby7,
    Thanks!

I'm not sure how the fender-bender would have caused the problem, either, unless it loosened the BCM's connection somewhere, and/or water got in there somewhere because of all the rain...

I've got an appointment with my mechanic tomorrow; I'll let you know how it goes!

    Thanks again!

    Coby7,
You seem to be the Guru here, so I hope you can help.

A week and a half ago, I had a fender-bender. The next day, I noticed that the locks started going up and down all by themselves. I stopped to run an errand, and when I opened the door to get back in, the car started honking (anti-theft), and honked until I put the key in and turned the ignition on.

It's been doing that ever since.

I've done a lot of looking on the net, and I'm thinking it might be something in the BCM; my friendly mechanic is going to hook up his Tech II, but I'm wondering if you're familiar with situations like this, and if you are, would you have a direction to point me in?

    Thanks!

    -BobSkippy
