Post whoring

Come on guys...just cause our post counts were reset doesn't mean that we have to be posting "post" in peoples threads to get our numbers back up....all post whoring like that will be deleted. We have always had the rule that post whoring is to be in off-topic in a whore thread.

i thinks so, even though it shouldnt

on my forum i have an off topic for genuine off topic discussion, and a SUPER off topic section for whoring that wont raise the post count

Hhmmm... That would be cool if it did. Would give me something to do when I get bored at work and not many people are posting... I like coming up with totally random and ridiculous topics...

I am against a "whore topic" .. It clutters up the site.. and it sends out a lot of emails to people who are subscribed to the topic whenever there are new posts. Not to mention it is the source of all of the drama that happened recently

well I think it could be argued that the people, more specifically two people who aren't here any more were the cause of all the drama. I would think without them a whore thread could be civil. It works elsewhere so I'm sure it could work here.

I do understand what you are getting at though. I'm fine with it either way but I like whore threads because you get to just BS with each other more then you can in regular threads.

here's an easy solution...post whore in the "lets count to a million" thread...just post a million pictures of numbers in order and your set...other then that the caddy/mindless chatter does not exsist.
