It's been awhile

more like 6 months. I see that some glitch reset the site, glad some people remember me. Some don't know me some do. I was banned about 6 months ago, alot of the people who were banned with me I see are back. Hopefully I can be too. Although my other name still says banned (i hated that name) I allready sent a message to the admin for those who freak out. Anyways Wanted to say Hi to old friends, which was my main reason for coming here and seeing what's new with the cobalts. I still miss mine a bit.

oh yeah and recent pics may help so here you go:

She's currently in the shop been a month now they are putting in a new transmission hope to get her back tomorrow god i hope so lol
the previous owner wasn't very nice to her :( she's had a re-manufactured engine and now a new tranny

and this is what's been done to my car for those who are wondering

Borla Cat-Back Exhaust
Tinted Windows
18in VSR performance Wheels
3rd Brake Light Sticker (RX- 8 )
Car Bra
Blue Interior Lighting (the dome is an l.e.d.)
Drop-In K&N Air Filter
Rotory Accent Package

I also painted some things from winning blue metallic touch up paint. it's a bit darker then the color of my car. I did it for the car show and I like it and that's what matters. The following is painted:

Rotory Symbol on my shifter
Brake Handle
Mazda Symbol on steering wheel
Lettering and Symbol on the plastic engine cover
Windshield Washer Fluid Cap
Oil Cap
Valve Stem Covers (were the chrome blue ones from autozone and I just re-painted them)

This is some information on her from the dealership sticker that was on her window

18-in aluminum alloy wheels w/locks
225/45R18 tires/aluminum hood
free style doors/dual power mirrors
halogen headlights
rear window glass radio antenna
twin bright-tipped exhaust outlets
variable intermittent wipers
tinted windshield with sunshade
Complete Cat-back Exhaust System: 2005 Mazda RX-8; manual transmission rear wheel drive 1.3L; single round rolled angle cut tip split rear exit; T-304 stainless steel
Blue LED concealed meter lightning w/red nighttime gauge illumination

Welcome back Jen and I hope the new engine and transmission last longer than the original ones did.

Your Balt motor blew up too...bad luck I guess. Mine had a little oil leak but it always started and ran perfectly for me. If I hadn't taken off the motor covers then I would've never seen it...you really have to keep an eye on those Rotary engines though, they just love to burn up and completely fail.

we all believe the previous owner had to of done something to it. I mean i bought the car with no oil change, no fluids, bald tires. Within the first month the engine was remanufactured 4 months after that it's getting a new tranny. It's surely nothing I did. I know how to drive :D

It's just a rotary thing, they're not reliable, sound terrible, and suck down gas like a V8. I check out the specs compared to my fiancees LS2 GTO and the GTO is rated for higher city and and freeway mpgs than the rotary...it has 160 more hp and like 240 more ft/lbs of torque and the whole car weighs more.
