Ride of the Month?

Well, its a simple concept, pretty much a contest. No limit, anyone who wants to enter should be allowed. Maybe meeting a certain requirement, like "At least four modifications", but that can be figured out later.

When introducing competitors, list detailed information about the car, giving the voters not only an incentive to vote, but also ideas on what they can do to their own ride.

The winner can get maybe, something other than "Newbie" like almost 99.9% of all of us. Like "Ride of the Month - July, 08", or something of the type. Including bragging rights, to a certain extent.

Subcategories can be introduced, such as "Design", "Mod Setup", "Custom", whatever anyone else can think of.

This would all be in good sportsmanship, supporting, and helpful to everyone wanting more ideas... Like me. lol!:D

I like the idea but I don't care for the minimum mod requirement because there are a lot of people here who just do performace and things like that so those mods may not show in a picture. Plus it seems like you might be rewarding tackiness if you encourage alot of appearance mods.

I'll look into a picture voting system.. so people can upload pics of their cars and then people can vote on them.. like a cardomain type of thing

This is true I think there should be like a 4 photo minimum: Interior, exterior, engine and another shot of the competitors choice.

Yea, I know, I just threw that in because I know somebody's going to bring it up to eliminate competition. I mean, I don't even have 2 mods yet. lol! For modifications, I was talking about listing certain things the competitor has done to make their car unique. Like...

Modifications:
AEM Cold Air Intake
DC Sports Strut bar
Progress Lowering springs - 2"
Masterflow Cat-back Exhuast system
...
...

And whatever else the competitor wants to mention.

Awsome idea, i think the 4th pciture requirmnet should be a scenic picture if possible....
