Complete Brake Job Cost?? Rough Idea of Cost??

He guys,

Anyone have an idea of how much it will cost for a 4 wheel brake job. They say I need rotors and drums as well as brakes.

Thanks Ed

I paid about $250 for front brakes and was quoted about the same for the rear two.

Not quite sure on exact prices without looking it up but if you do the break job yourself you can prollly get your dron't and back done for a little over 300$. Thats just parts. And that would be like low end, cheaper after market or performance parts, not OEM. You would save a ton doing it yourself. Breaks are simple.....
I'm bout to do mine as soon as I get the cash.

Midwest Cobalt. Representing Missouri. Super clean....

Dealers are advertising $99 per axle but that does not include the rotors and drums. How many miles are on the car, you should not need rear drums yet unless you do severe driving.

Hi Guys,

I just had the front rotor's and rear drums done with the brakes and labor with an oil change. Cost $667.22

Front Rotors x2 = $119.00
Front Brake Pads - $79.95
Rear Drums - $140.00
Rear Brakes - $60.00
Oil Change - $29.95
Labor - $184.00
Tax - $52.98

Total - $667.22

I thought it was a little bit High. Just for reference I live on Long Island near the Nassau / Suffolk borders meet on the South Shore.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
