Offsets?
 
Im lookin to buy this new set of wheels from a guy who had them on his civic. They are the Borbet type c's 17in 4X100 but he doesnt know the offset. Do you still think they will fit my ls balt ok?

the offset has to be the right one, if not, your wheel could either sit too far ojut and look tacky, or sit too far in and rub on the shocks

ask if you can mount them and see if they rub before you buy them

or just google it and look up the offset

Or build the civic on tire rack and see what the offset is for the wheels.

Wheel companys usually let people mount the rims on the car, just to check for rub, if you mount a tire, you will not be able to return them
