Question ss susp swap?
 
i am looking into swapping over to the ss suspension on crate engine depot they have an FE5 suspension kit for like $735 is this the sales code for the ss? and would i just be better of going a/m for this eibach offers front and rear bars would appreciate the input thanks

Unless ur tryin to put down a lot of power or ur auto xing ur car every weekend, I would keep the stock setup maybe get drop springs if anything.

Thats what I did. Rides perfect, and looks good. But don't slam it unless you are going to get after market shocks. At least I wouldn't, some guys here did tho. I also got the TTR rear sway bar and that'll tighten things up nice.

What kind of drop would you consider slammed on an ls?

go with some eibach sportlines. and as far as aftermartket shocks and struts you only have two options. buying the SS stuff or a Koni setup which the rear is a full replacement and the front requires the cartridge from your old one and a weld job. a set of front and back will cost you around $600 something anyway.

and as far as i know, eibach sway bar kit isnt produced yet even though its listed on every site. i tried to order it a few months ago and i was contacted by the site saying that eibach has not actually produced it yet for the cobalt. i was like why the hell is everyone advertising it then

and even if your not putting down alot of power or auto xing, this car def could use a suspension upgrade besides just springs
