I agree, it is a little confusing. If you ride in the car, it defintely feels faster. But at the track, since the low-end was sacrificed, the times dropped. The larger tires size also has something to do with it.

The good news is that I was reaching 89mph. That's a +5mph bump.

It's a trade-off. Once the engine gets above 4Krpm, you can really feel it opening up. The power comes on fast (almost like a turbo would), and runs right up to redline.

I can tell you this, the car is much more fun to drive now, after all these mods. It's become a 'momentum car'. That is, once you get the speed up, and maintain it, the smile never leaves your face.

i understand. after adding a intake and some big tires, i was cuttin about the same ET as i did when i was stock. kinda dissappointing. thats why i am debating on running a 2.25'' catback to help out with the low end.

glad you like your car! thats all that reallly matters.

What kinda 60' are you getting? YOu may just need to re learn how to launch at a higher RPM
