TL at the Dragstrip - Upgrades Round 2

Here are some videos of my runs with the Cobalt after the 2nd round of upgrades.

For the record :

Short-shifter - Springs - Shocks - Strut bar - Sway bar - Tranny mounts - wheels - Dunlop tires - 2.4l intake manifold - 9K miles

15.96 was my fast run, but it was also 4mph higher than round 1 upgrades.

What size tires did you go with? If you have a larger circumference overall wheel & tire then the original 15's then you actually reduced the mechanical leverage. Did you also get the computer changed for the 16" wheels? Smaller circumference tires actually help acceleration like lower gearing does.

...but the bigger intake kills the low-end power. The top-end speed was considerably higher though...

are you going to do some engine work?

burzumaske20 added 12 Minutes and 44 Seconds later...

wait did you gain some torque from the 2.4 intake manifold kit?I would kind of figured you gain some torque at least

The manifold moves your RPM range higher. You lose low end torque and gain top end horsepower.
