Yea...the 5 series is a heavy car..you should be able to take him without a doubt make that a nice wad of cash to throw down and use the winning money for mods

The 2.3 hatchback Focus is awesome, pretty quick for a 4-cyl econo car. The Z3 is a 1.9 liter, weak as hell, the 328i had an iron block 2.8 liter 6 cyl, also weak and heavy as hell. The Focus is front drive and therefore losing less power through the drivetrain, not to mention probably lighter body and all aluminum motor. I've driven all and they all feel about the same, BMW is overrated, go cry about it.

If it's a stock 530 there shouldn't be a problem... they've got power but are super heavy. As long as you don't botch the launch it shouldn't be much of an issue.
