Talking Turbocharged MR2 vs. SS/NA Cobalt

Make this short and sweet. An MR2 Turbocharged 200HP came by me the other day while his passenger was waiving his arm for me to follow. So, why not, traffic was low to moderate. I pulled behind him and followed him till we had a clear two lanes. I was right on his bumper when he put it to the floor and pulled a bit. I put mine to the floor and pulled back up to his bumper, swapped lanes and passed him up by 3-4 cars. I slowed down and he came up next to me, gave me the thumbs up. I nodded and we went our separate ways. Not a bad win for the Bolt =) . He had a nice MR2, with sweet looking dual exhaust set-up to appear stock. Loved the look of his MR2... had the Ferrari look to it.

nice one i also had a fun filled day of drivers toying with me. a black grand prix gt had his mind set on out running me. i was on 70 west just outside columbus with all three lanes clear for go. i see him fly past unexpectedly thinking he could get far enough ahead i couldnt catch him. mind you there are absolutely no cars near by so of course i take the bait and go for it. cruising around 70 mph i shift into third and immediately catch him and fly by. i resume cruising only to have him catch up with his arms in the air shaking his head. next thing i know an srt4 merges onto the highway and my car catches his attention. we have a short run just to stay neck and neck with each other.

sorry, didnt mean to hijack, just got my mind on the subject. i figured a turbocharged mr2 would be much quicker. but anyways, nice race.

I did also. I really didn't think I had a chance to pull ahead. But in the end I did. As I stated it was a well kept MR2. I've seen these on the dyno putting out 300HP before. Stock they are 200HP unless you get the Fugly 130HP MR2's............
