I have a 2007 1LT auto. No ABS/no traction control. If I spin my wheels rather than upshifting it rev limits. Also if im going and the car is in like 2nd and I punch the gas if it gets redline with a bit of wheel slippage rather than going into next gear it rev limits. I noticed this after the dealer tuned my car. They are saying its normal. I just want somone to tell me if it is. See I dont remember this ever happening before I remember it upshifting

This only happens if wheels slip and it cant be traction control as I dont have it.

Also rev limiter is engaged in both neutral and park.

I really want to know if car is behaving correct cause Im ready to mod and once the mods go in warranty goes bye bye.

Got a nice CAI and Shift+ sitting in my basement waiting to be installed

Dunno what else Im gonna install maybe under drive pully???? But before I start modding I need to know if my car is functioning as it should.

you can install those mods and it wont void your warranty. and idk whats going on with your car but you said the dealer modded it so just have them put it back to stock.

its the safety feature for the trans. it kills the fuel goin to the engine so you DONT dont crazy things like that to make the trans work and overdo it. I have a LT 07 also. and the dealer wont tune it but make it stock again. i have a trifecta tune so I have a higher rev limit and no govenor

Ok first of all its all in the ECU and PCM or what ever computer runs the trans, I have a 2007 auto and I have a Mods and a TUNE that has it where my rev limit goes to 7 and in neutral does the same I have no govenor and My tunes does alot for and to my trans. you have no tune and your concerned about that. SHiftin like what your saying will cause damage to it and thats why it does that, it cuts off the fuel to the engine to keep it safe from being damaged period.

and as for your key check the inside fuse panel and theres a 2 amp fuse if thats blown your eye wont come out.
