Ok so i took my car to a friend's shop that i have known for the past 4 or 5 years and they got to work on my car yesterday.

Well my car was missin 2 bolt from the bell housing and also had automatic fluid in it. But it should be ready for me to pick up today after 2pm... They are putting a new slave cyclinder and throw out in it and will be putting Redline MTL in my tranny. So hopefully it will be all better when i get it back... Oh and the will be shimming the flywheel...

i hope youre going back to the dealer who did the install and demanding your money back too!

Naw i will just be taking them to court...

But now after i have had a new slave cylinder installed my car is starting to act up again. But i have also broken the little clip thingy that attaches the shift cable to the shifter itself, it is the clip thing that allows you to shift from 1 to 2 3 to 4 and 5 to R... Anyone know what that damn thing is called??? or how much it is???

you could google the "little clip thingy that allows you to shift from 1 to 2, 3 to 4, and 5 to R", honesdtly, i havent a clue as to what they call it, but couldnt you just go to an autowrecker, and get one from a standard trans, late model cavy?

I was just wondering if anyone else has ordered the exedy stage1 clutch and fidanza flywheel and is having any problems??? I think that my syncros my be going bad, because i have a tough time shifting into gear unless i revmatch. And i am also hearing a weird clanking noise while idling, but when i slightly rev it then it stops till the rpms come back down... I would really like some input here...

Also i was wondering if anyone knew if this transmission will bolt up to my '07 LS or not:
Cobalt G5 5 speed w/ LSD 55563239 - Crate Engine Depot
Any info will help out on this issue as well, if i will have to replace my current tranny.

For the synchro's, it should be covered, cause alot of us have had to have them done

Ok so i have since figured out what the clankin noise is and it is coming from a crack in my exhaust... But i am still having a problem with shifting into gear occasionally. And the dealership said that they can't figure out what the problem is. But the clutch pedal is extremely stiff and the clutch will engage right off the floor, and sometimes when its hot enough i don't even have to move the clucth pedal off the floor to get the car moving, all i have to do is let off the brake and give it a hairline of gas...

Has anyone else had this kind of problem with any aftermarket stage 1 or higher clutch and lightweight flywheel?????
