Question Prep Work for the Paint Job..

So im going to be taking my bumper off tomorrow and taking it to maaco monday. As of right now in looking at the reviews on the shop that I want to go but it has mix reviews such as 3/4 good and 1/4 bad and most off it talks about "Prep work" so I was thinking if you guys could help me out by telling me how to prep the bumper before I take it that way its decent hopefully (crosses fingers). Well ok im assuming we need some sanding paper or would it be better to sand with a sanding sponge? What grit to use ( member theres no paint on it now) so I would assume that a very fine grit to corse the surface for there paint to stick.. and the I guess wash and wipe the mess off and wrap it up...
