Actually I have an update! Since I've modded my intake, I'm getting 20-21mpg now! 98% city driving lots of stop and go.

If I take it easy like i have been I stay around 30 mpg, mostly city-ish driving. If I go with the mix of tame and aggressive its anywhere from 24 mpg to 28

You need to try to stay in the highest gear possible without lugging. I'm betting you are shifting too late. Accelerate moderately and shift at about 2k

I always shift at 2500 that's what the stock shift light is set to and I'd say my average gear would be 4th. It's not that easy to get into to 5th much (except maybe at night with less traffic) considering the speed limits in nyc is 30mph max 40 unless on highway then that's 50. Occasionally if traffic is flowing and speeding I can get to 5th and do 35 mph that's the lowest without lugging. Then there's also hills and stuff which prevent 5th as well. All I have to say is I'm glad I don't drive in the other boroughs. Mpg is prob like 15 or less jeez. I get pissed every time I drive in Krooklyn. It's always light to light stopping literally. I'd say the average gear would be 2 or 3 for Brooklyn. I drove in Manhattan once but it was 4am me and my friends wanted Chinese food (actually I have a youtube video of it if you guys are interested let me know lol) it wasn't too bad. I wouldn't drive during the day though **** that lol. Gear average is probably 1-2 in Manhattan. Not too sure about the Bronx or Queens as I never go to either. But yeah so I try to get into 5th as much as possible cause it really does make a huge difference in MPG but it's not always possible. And all the stopping and going from constant lights and stop signs (though not as bad as brooklyn) doesn't really help the fact either lol.

I have not reset my average mpg since I bought my car and it has just over 3,000 miles on it now. It is reading 37 mpg right now, and if I keep up the good driving habit, it will continue to go up i'm sure. by the way mine is a 09 XFE with a 5 speed manual.

23-27, depending on where I've been driving. If it's just to work and grocery store all week it's 23. If I've been running the bf to work and back it's 27+. I almost wanna take it back to IL for a while just to get it back up to 35 or so.

has basically dropped off the face of the planet... moved and still havent had internet installed at the new place
