G5 grill block

Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone out there has tried a partial grill block on a G5? I was thinking about it, but the pontiac has such a small grill to begin with I wasn't sure if I might end up causing more trouble than not

Why do I want to put on a partial grill block? To improve my mileage. This is the MPG section is it not?

Start with the parts where it's not a direct line through the radiator as those areas aren't helping much with cooling anyway.

I don't know about a G5 but I have over 60% of my grill blocked off in my Cobalt and still keep under 200F.

Fan doesn't kick on till 217F so as long as you keep it under 210 you should be good.

I'd say it's good for 3% or better gains at highway speeds.
