Also because 30 seconds is longer than 15 seconds, so the engine will undoubtedly burn more gas in that time.

I try to keep Rpms at 2500 or lower

Driving habits for a n/a car are different than a turbocharged car as well

Do you ever drive on a freeway? Cruising in 5th gear on the freeway I'm at exactly 3000 rpms and that's at 75 mph (speed limit on the interstate is 70)

Speed limits are just signs, you don't have to drive that fast. If you lose 20% fuel efficiency by driving 75 instead of 60, why drive so fast? People need to chill, relax, enjoy the view. Live a little!!!

I mean, I try to get to places quickly so I can spend more time with friends/family/getting stuff done. I don't love highway driving, especially in Oklahoma where it's basically just, drive straight for an hour and a half.

That is true i do that sometimes as well but i also speed to get ahead of triffic if i decide to go to autozone or best buy around 4:00. Which is also me and my bad timing but still.
