Poor mpg 18mpg

Ok i. Changed the mass air flow, and spark plug. Was getting 25mpg. Now after i pit plugs in it was only getting 18mpg. Plz help? Idk what to do

First question. Is the Check Engine Light (CEL) illuminated? How are you calculating your mileage? Were you getting 25 highway? If so, are you driving less highway now? Easiest ways to increase mileage, check tire pressures and keep them properly inflated. Stay as low on the RPMs as possible aka be easy on the go fast pedal.


If you do have a CEL get the codes read and post the codes for more help.
