Smile Aftermarket Amp

You can still have an amp installed and keep the factory setup. I had an amp installed in my LS to power the factory GM sub that I bought off ebay. By the way it sounds better than the factory setup a fellow worker has in his SS. But that also may be because i Dynamatted the trunk before the install.

yeah the best way to do its getting a Hi/low converter.... its easy to intall it bc you can just clamp it underneath the rear speakers and that gives you RCA outputs to hook up an amp... that hi/low converter its about 15 bucks in Best Buy..... I had my set up like that until about a year ago but this kind of set up doesnt give a good precision sound; mostly aftermarket units have a crossover built in thats separates bass, mids and highs.... now everything i have is aftermarket (see my signature)...

R6 Componet Kickers front speakers, 6x9 4way XPLOD rear speakers... Kickers Comps 12in SUBS, 4ch Hifonics ZEUS Amp. 18" Wheels. SPECTRE CAI , Full set of INTERIORS NEONS.!
