All three you listed along with Eclipse...they are all great brands. I have had Kenwood, Alpine, and Pioneer myself. The Alpine was the best in my opinion, but it was a higher model than the Pioneer and Kenwood units were.

I currently don't have an aftermarket in the Cobalt, but when I do get one, it will be one of the 4 brands I listed.

Thanks a bunch guys! I'm looking into a head unit.. I've heard a lot.. "stick with Pioneer and Alpine" "i highly recommend Pioneer" "I'm a big fan of Kenwood" these are all from best buy, good friend who does custom installs (used to work @ all & ed's) and my bro-in-law. haha

I'm looking at

Kenwood / Pioneer

Alpine

As long as it sounds and looks good, their all great. I love my Alpine. The sound is very clean, not loud. If you want perfect sound get the Imprint attachment. CDA-9886
