No Response from Speaker??

ok so awhile back... my driver front speaker stoped working... nothing comes outta it...<< i dont think the wires are lose.. and its all the original parts.. never been played with... is it possible the speaker is blown out..? i crank it alot .. but i never herd the sounds of a blown speaker at all it just stoped working...

mods... tinted taillights, 1000 watt alpine mono amp, 2 10 inch alpine type "r" subs, basspro slot ported box, xm radio, alpine 6x9 rear speekers, alpine 6.5 front speekers (both type "s",09SS front bumper and lip,black factory headlights, 12k foglights, 10k headlights, slp catback,fe5 suspension with sportlines,black carpet, painted plastics (black) huge custom pink monster sticker... and ofcourse.... BLACKED OUT!

Take it to the dealer. If you have blown them you will hear a lot of distortion and crappy sound out of it. If you are under warranty I would have the dealer look at it. If not warrantied, go aftermarket and get al lthe speakers changed out.

Sounds like a loose wire or just a defective speaker all around. I crank mine al lthe time with my subs and my door speakers still sound really good supprisingly.

Yeah I'm begining to think that the door speakers are just shite... mine went out a while back for no apparent reason too. It's a good excuse to get new speakers anyway.


has basically dropped off the face of the planet... moved and still havent had internet installed at the new place

Mine went out also, gives me a reason to upgrade to better stuff that that crap GM puts in the vehicles.

haha now it works agian... i guess the speaker its on its way out then... it sounds horrible

my drivers door speaker would cut in and out when it felt like it..got it replaced on warranty and haven't had another problem
