Yellow Top Battery

so my electronics are putting to much of a strain on my battery so i'm looking at getting one of the yellow-tops. my only question is there anything i have to do to switch it? it seems like it should be simple, just drop it in and switch the connections from the old battery to the new. is there something else i need to do also or is that it?

make sure you get the right battery though cause some of them only have terminals on specific spots and it wouldn't line up

just go to the auto store and say I need a yellow top for a cobalt, they will give you the correct one and install it for you

you need top terminals, NOT the GM side terminals. I recommend a red top for pro audio, even though it's more expensive, the deep cell gel design lets you bump your system for hours with the car off and it never damages the battery! and remember to use the battery washers!
