Hidden Antenna?

So i am trying to figure out a way to get rid of my long ugly antenna and i noticed this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-Cobalt-Hidden-Antenna_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem27ae58af05QQite mZ170428772101QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5f Accessories#ht_3003wt_941 Has anybody seen or used these before? Think it will work and if so where would i install it?

Link doesnt work...

Ive used a vacuum cap before. Its about an inch long. plugs right on top of the threads to the antenna. auto parts stores have a little pack for a couple bucks.
Say good bye to reception though... also they make shorty antennas. you can cut your antenna in half...all kinds of things.

my headunit has a built in 30gig harddrive, so i NEVER use my radio, for anything. so when my antenna broke off i just left it. im thinking about getting it shaved at a body shop.

You can take it to a body shop and they'll sshave it and make it look like nothing was ever there, then i guess you can rerun the antenna to the roof and get one of those like shark fin looking antennas.

I cut my antenna off & its only like 3 inches long now, if that. Its stuck so i couldnt replace it w/ a sorty... so cutting it was my only option w/o breaking it... lol

if your really thinking about going with that hidden antenna then skip ebay and go to The Hoffman Group - Autoloc. They are the orgin of it.
