Tweeter install

Hey all. I got an 2007 lt coupe w/o tweeters. I havnt had time to tear into my door panel yet but I was thinking bout upgrading my door speakers and adding tweeters. Has anyone done this if so how hard is the install?

I mounted mine in the factory location,

use a hole saw the right size and measure twice, cut once, it's really easy

I ment more or less the wiring part. I'm gonna have to pick up some speaker wire from somewhere but how is the crossover suppose to be wired up

If you buy a component set, it should be all included

I removed the styrofoam under the armrests of the door panel and mounted the crossover there..ran one set of wires to the 6.5's and the other set up to the tweeters on the sail



Of course, I added alot of sound deadening as well

I love the mb quart, but they can be pricey, pioneer makes pretty good cheaper ones, Memphis makes nice ones too, really depends on your budget, mine were part of the mb quart component set, and I added an extra set on the dash
