Wiring Tweeters

If my front speakers are NOT amped, can I just run a wire from the door speaker to my tweeter? or do I still need a crossover?

u could but might not last long.need cross over like coby was saying to take mids and lows out.

2009 cobalt ss,k&N typhoon intake, short shifter,tuned cat-back exhaust, jet black.

You should always have a crossover, or at least a bass-blocker

they're the factory tweeters from an ss pionneer. They got a capacitor wired into them, so I was thinking Id just have to wire to the speaker
