Aftermarket Radio Wiring Colors.

Hey I just figured I would help all of you guys out who are too cheap to buy the harness for an aftermarket radio, this is for a 08 cobalt, But should be the same throughout.

12v (yellow on aftermarket) Red/white.
Ground (Black on aftermarket) Black/White
12v ignition. (red on aftermarket) See notes.
Amp turn on (Blue/white on aftermarket) Pink. (Factory pioneer only)
LF+ (White)tan
LF-( White black) Dk. Green
RF+(Grey) Lt green or lt. Green/white
RF-(Grey blk) dark green
LR+ (Green) Brown
LR- (Green/blk) Yellow
RR+ (Purple) Dk. Blue
RR- (Purple/blk) Lt. Blue

Ignition can be gotton at multiple locations on the car. Here are the two easiest.
There is a yellow wire on the ignition switch if you want actual ignition, Or there is a brown wire if you want to hook it up to the accessory circuit.
Now there is a lazier approach as well. On the inside of the passanger kick pannel there is a fuse box, There should be a thicker pink wire, That is an accessory wire as well.

Also I believe there is a R.A.P. Circuit wire in the passanger kick pannel that is black/Yellow, But I am not 100% sure on that one.

Feel free to ask any questions.
