Stock Head Unit RMS Power Output?

So im looking into upgrading my head unit and audio as a whole. After doing some research on how exactly to get the best sound possible, i came to the conclusion that the first thing i would have to do is get rid of my stock head unit, simply because i need pre-amp outputs. However i have a few questions.
-What is the ideal RMS power output for a head unit?does it really matter?
-how big of an amp will this head unit support, as this is the one i am planning on buying, but i am not sure if it is going to give me enough power to support a solid amp and 2 subs.

PS-i am very inexperienced with installing car audio and have built these questions simply off what i have researched.

A decent head unit is 25x4 watts and above. An aftermarket head unit can handle any size amp.

I would get a brand name head unit though. Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, etc.

That one seems to have decent ratings, what's the advantage of going with a brand name unit?

With brand names you don't usually have problems. A decent pioneer is probably a couple bucks more than the one you picked out.

That would be perfect. Specs say its 22x4. Plenty of power for your speakers.

You can use any head unit with any speaker. Who ever told you that you can't was horribly misinformed
