The Sub ohms and amp ohms are different. It should work. I know you can cut the ohms in half, but I'm not sure you can double them without ill effects. I'm not a big fan of Lanzar amps tho, they are right there with Pyramid and Legacy amps to me. Not very nice for quality of parts/hardware. I'd say run it, but if you feel skeptical, I'd say get a different amp.

Should I get 4 ohms sub?

This is what I was referring to. If you scroll down youll see the section for having an amp but no sub yet. The chart says for a 4 ohm amp and powering one sub you should get a SVC 4 ohms sub or a DVC 2 ohms sub.

I returned the sub and got a 4 ohm sub

Well you did that kind of fast. I was going to tell ya that the lower the ohm rating the louder the stuff is. I think you would have been better off keeping that sub and just getting a different amp. There are plenty of 2 ohm and 1 ohm stable amps out there that are mono block (meaning only for one speaker) that would be perfect for your sub there.

I ordered a 500 watt rms at 2 ohms alpine amp so the 4 ohm subs should be good
