Onstar Inferior

I just recently purchased a 2010 Cobalt. I can only record the directions from the advisor, rather than having it download to the radio. I have a 2007 Hummer, had a 2010 Camero, and have a 2013 Vette. All of these download to the radio and warn you of the coming turns, etc. Is there a problem with my cobalt onstar or can it be upgraded to the way all my other GM cars work? Talk about being surprised!

Thanks for the help. I followed your advice, and found out that in order to get the kind of directions I am use to, I had to have factory ABS brakes! No one along the chain either knew that or neglected to inform me of such. So disappointing.

Well, I'm glad that you received some answers. Sorry if this wasn't the answer you were hoping for. If there's anything else we can try to help with don't hesitate to let us know.
