Bluetooth for streaming music

One of my friends has a portable jambox that I can connect my phone to via Bluetooth for streaming music. I was wondering what to look for in a head unit for doing the same thing. The factory stereo in my Suzuki has Bluetooth for talking on the phone but not for music... (if it does I just haven't figured it out yet...) Is anyone else doing this all ready? And what specs to look for in a h/u?

Correction, the b/t in the Suzuki runs through the Garmin GPS, not the stereo.

Mine came with my car but the "source" to listen to music is "bluetooth audio". So maybe see if that's an option on the HU

The problem most people run into with streaming via bluetooth is compatibility. Not all head units are compatible with all mobile devices, despite bluetooth capability on both devices. Just an FYI.

I've got a pioneer touch screen an it becomes an iPhone when attached to it...no need for Bluetooth....and charges it also....can change the screen around with an app...and many other neat stuff...

I'm trying to eliminate aux cords. Less connections = less room for error

i feel you i hate cables, sadly our stock H/U doesn't do anything but take calls with the bluetooth it doesn't do A2DP A2DP Definition

i'm tempted to say all moderm H/U do have bluetooth audio streaming though so any will do.

Ah got ya
But your giving up on sound quality
My cords in the glove box just attach the phone and put it in the glove box...the head unit control it from there...
