Installed a Radio

I installed an aftermarket pioneer radio earlier today and now my tail lights or my dash lights will not even come on. Is that because a fuse is blown?

Check and make sure your wiring harness is correctly wired and free of shorts. I had a similar problem with mine when I put in a new head unit, it just turned out to be I had a short in the system.
