Stock Subwoofer Box

What are people's experiences with adding the enclosure, with your own sub of choice? I currently I have a single 12 in a box that's too large IMO and the amp only gives out roughly 300w. How big or small is the airspace? Would like to save the trunk space if possible

I'm slightly confused as to what you are asking. Do you want help with a smaller box? What size is your current one? Is it ported? Do you want more bass? You didn't really ask a question

The subwoofer enclosure with the Pioneer woofer....what are people's opinions on using it with a different sub, of their choice? I was contemplating getting the "box" that attaches to the side wall to save space but would use a different woofer obviously on my own amp. Yes, it won't be as good as having a custom built box, but is it a MILE drop-off or not that bad actually
