Factory Amp Problem

I just installed a new head unit into my 06 Chevy Cobalt LT w/ upgraded factory pioneer sound. I was experiencing a slight buzzing sound when I had the sound turned all the way down on any source. I tried re-grounding the head unit directly to the ground of the battery and still had the same thing. It kinda seems like the amp is getting to much power but i would not know how to make the sound stop or turn the amp down.

If you are going to be using the factory amplifier you will need an impedance matching network or use the pre-amp out of the new unit if so equipped.
