Average mileage for Western Canada cars

Hello all;
I purchased and took delivery of my '08 Cobalt two weeks ago and was wondering just what kind of mileage I should be getting this time of year.
I live in Winnipeg and we have had some very weird weather since I took delivery. If anyone has owned their car for a while and likes to check mileage let me now what to expect. So far i've been getting between 7-9L/100 on the highway but unknown in the city. This seems to be not bad for winter but i'm curious to hear what others are getting. So far I can't say enough good things about this car, everything seem to work just as expected (except for getting used to automatic lights) and am looking forward to summer to do a little travelling.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards;

ron

I am not sure how to convert this to metric but, I am averaging 32.5 mpg over a 3,000 mile span. I rest the gauge every oil change. I live in Arkansas.
I know there are several other threads that discuss fuel economy/efficiency.

2007 LT 2.2

Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position RE960AS on Premium Wheels

Future MODS:
2.4 Intake Manifold Conversion * 2.4 TB * TUNE

ConcwayCobalt, your conversion would be 7.24 L/100km. (to convert use 235/MPG)

I am in Calgary and mine gets approx 8.4 L/100 and thats short rides in town and a highway drive every 2 weekends or so.
