What Are U Paying for Car Insurance ?

In light that car insurance is becoming very expensive , maybe we can share costs and ideas to find the best deal possible. just a thought.

me & wife (principal, occasional, but she never drives at all) $1700 for very standard coverage : both retired, perfect record for many years, drive less than 10000km/y for pleasure only, basic chevy cobalt 2 years old, bought new, in GTA.

29 years old, solo policy as my wife has State Farm and I refuse to change because they are too expensive. i got a quote from them at $165 per month to add me. I have 3 past accidents, 5 or so speeding tickets, full coverage, full tort, 2010 Cobalt XFE, $98 per month, marriage and homeowners discount with progressive.

If I was you guys I would look elsewhere. My mom is 52, no accidents, full coverage on Lincoln continental and she pays $55 a month with Progressive.

Principal driver/owner, Full coverage, paying about $2000/yr on a 2010 cobalt lt. I am only in my early twenties so its still kinda high.

Its only that high because I'm the primary driver and I just turned 20

I'm with bel-air direct, that was the best price I could find

I have only dealt with bel-air direct and aviva. Both gave me excellent rates even when I first got my license. I never really looked around because the whole family uses either one of those insurance companies for our cars.

$128/month (~1536/yr) for full coverage with 500/100 deductables. That is obviously with 1 total out and several mishaps on the G5.

$75/month, $200 deductible for full coverage with State Farm. Accident free discount, good driver discount, multi-line discount. I'm also over 25, so that gives me a break, too.
