Alright, well, here's the story:
Masters, who is from trois-rivieres, Qc, and is on YC, decided to organize a meet near his location. Trois-rivieres is about 2 hours away from me, so it's really the closest thing I would get to a meet. From the facebook page, it seemed like we would be anywhere between 10-20 cars, mostly cobalts, which seemed cool. So anyways I decided to make my way out there saturday afternoon, and on the way I texted Masters to let him know I was almost there, and asked him how many had showed up so far. He replied "so far just two", to which I replied "damn hopefull ythere will be more!"
When I arrived, I gunned it past the small group of two cobalts, a VW and a BM which were all parked in a huge Zellers parking lot. Apparently Masters could tell it was me by the sound of my BOV and the look of my car. Pulled around tot the parking lot, 4th car there, 2nd cobalt there. Shortly after I met the group, out of nowhere, 5 civic SI's with mods showed up and parked in front of us. Masters said they weren't part of our group, and we figured that someone else had the same idea as us to have a meet there, which he said was rare. Little did we know, that was only the beginning. Over the next hour, over 100 cars, almost all modified, showed up to the spot. There were WRX's and STI's, civic SI's of all generation, quite a few S13's, some bagged pickups, even a couple of 350Z's, and a lot more. Needless to say it was pretty awesome. Many nice, some ugly, or just plain distasteful, but still a good time nonetheless :P
A total of about 10 balts showed up, 2 or 3 of them were from the YC forums, the others I don't believe were on the forums (yet lol) needless to say it was a good time. Well anyways here's some pics of the event;
