What to look for when buying a used car.

So im trying to buy an SS/SC at the moment. and i found quite a few around, so im going to start test driving them and what not. Now what do i want to look for. What should i do when i test drive them. i heard youshould really open it up when you test drive it, ry braking hard cutting turns, etc. to see how the car handles everything. listen for any strange noises... Anything else? anyone have any input?

Well because you already own a cobalt, you should know what to look for or expect. Yeah you have and LT, and an ss is way much better for handling and performance. I would just rate it on a scale of 1-10, and have a set of things you are trying to look for in a car. I wouldn't say to necessarily open it up fully, "drive it like you stole it" but do give it some gas and such to see what its got.

Listen for odd sounds or if the car pulls to any direction, any signs of poor care, and like the above post see if it fits your wants.
