I have an 09 LS Xfe. I commute about 100 miles a day 80% highway 20% city and my average is 38 mpg.

I am wondering if you all are going by the read out on the dash or are you going by when you fill up and calculating it? because I have noticed what the car says is about 1.5-2mpg off.

i go by the dic. but i dont reset it constantly. only when driving conditions change for long periods of time. at least 300 miles. i do a lot of long distance driving. but the numbers have stayed constant over 1000 mile trips.
