A/C stays on

My A/C continues to blow hot or cold air (depending where the temperature knob is) whenever the A/C is turned off ("0" position). Is this normal for the cobalts or should i have it checked out? It sucks because when im riding with my windows down, the air is still blowing.

Car is a 2007 4door LT

It is a normal thing for all cars.. the air just gets pushed in from the wind.. I don't know exactly how it works. The only way to stop it is to turn on the recirculate. But thats still not a good idea because GM for some reason made it so when its on recirculate the AC condenser turns on. But its not a problem with your car
