Sunroof concerns

After a very raining day here, I noticed that water was leaking from my OnStar microphone. I took my car to the dealer today to find out that water had leaked (somehow) and damaged my sunroof motor and in turn, the water leaked through my OnStar mic. I'm getting a new sunroof motor when I really thought all they'd have to do was clear some clogged sunroof drains. Perhaps the clogged drains lead to the failed sunroof motor.

Anyone else have any type of sunroof related leaks?

I've had clogged drains that resulted in a wet headliner in my '92 Saturn.

I park in a garage at home and there are no trees anywhere near my parking lot at work. I wonder what would cause the sunroof drains to clog.

That happened to me I took it right to the dealer, they fixed it, never had the problem again. But does anyone know if there's a way to make our sunroof go ALL the way back instead of stopping like a little more than half way? I HATE that!
