Angry Removing manual shift knob

Can someone please tell me how to remove the shift knob from my SS Supercharged, with manual transmission. I've seen other postings that said to find a ring within the boot and give it a quarter turn but, I think it's for an automatic transmission....

No that is for the manual trans. But the SS has the reverse lock out. I'm not sure about them

hey man i have the same car.

The knob actually pulls up( yes pull) its basically just pushed on real good with these metal spline lookn things. Im surprised yours hasn't pop'd off yet lol. No turning or whatever, that's for automatics and as you know (i think) all ss/sc are manual. Just grab the "ball" and pull straight up.... dont have your face over your hand or you will punch yourself lol
