how to get rid of the governer

Does anyone know how to eliminat or by pass the governer on the 2007 cobalt ls four door i keep getting challenged to go to the track but i cant bring it

You won't even come close to the governor with a car that is stock or even has all bolt-ons and a tune. You'd need FI to come close. Don't worry about it and just go to the track.

And, to answer your question, get a tune. Look at Trifecta.

You need more info...what do you have done to the car, what year and model is it? You are talking about 1/4 mile track right?

yah my ls sedan 5 speed is actually modded and i still got a bit to go before i hit governor
