Mazda RX-8 Vs Chev Cobalt Ls (handling)

Last night one of my buddy's was having people over at his house. I was explaining whats been done to my cobalt, we took it out for a spin to hit some corners. It did amazing and even my buddy was surprised. When we got back he let me take his RX-8 out. I ended up being disappointed in the way it preformed along the same path we took the balt. Then he hopped in to show me his skills haha (still prefer my car). When we got back I got jumped out and just looked at my car with a huge smile . (I didn't bust his chops don't worry)

I know there NOT the same class cars. Ones a FWD 2.2L cylinder 1/2 the price with some parts on it, others a Stock RWD 1.3 Rotatory.
The RX-8 was still very fun to drive. Pretty funny going from a car that red lines at 6.4x then jumping in a car that red lines at 9s
Too bad he wouldn't let me drift around. (Trying to conserve his tires) because that would have been a blast

nice sig, nice to hear you prefer the balt

and as for the RX8 drifting? Stock it can be done but there is not alot of torque to really have fun imo

No offense, but subjective and objective handling are two different things. You may like your LS more, but I doubt it handles any better, especially without bigger rubber.

I've always wanted to drive one of those - but I feel that like you, the feel would disappoint me.
