Wanting to Trade...but How?

as some of you may know i'm looking to trade my sedan in for a coupe. i found a yellow one that i liked but turns out it has a gray interior and after being thru that hassel with my sedan i don't think i could go gray again. it's one of those "i can but would rather not situations" anyway, i stopped by the dealership tonight to check out the yellow cobalt anyway and when i turned around to leave, i saw a silver coupe hiding in the corner by the enterance. i thought "hmm...arent those ss wheels?" so i went over to look and it's this...

link to dealership page

cliff note:

they want $14,350 for the car which has 33,842 miles on it, but i still owe $9,187 and a few cents on my sedan. sucks i know but i would like to try to get into either that, or maybe even the yellow one that i saw. but i really like the silver one. so my question is, how does the trade in process work? i want to go talk to the dealer tomorrow but i want to walk in there with an idea of how the process works any input will be appreciated thanks

ps- im not sure how much the dealership wants for the yellow balt yet. i called about the price when i saw the listing online but they said they wouldnt have a price on it until it went thru the garage, which could be any day now according to them.

thats some werd shiat right there, that is the most 2.4 Sport looking cobalt I've seen to be an LT....jump on it if you can it looks good, only issue is trying to get the bank to do a re-loan or whatever it is since you have negative equity

Looks like my 2.4 sport. Everything the same as SS except the engine.

i think the dealer is just a dumbass... unless the car was wrecked, but that wouln't explain the rims and 4 wheel disc brakes..

I have never seen this, it is a sport with a 2.2 in it, so its like a hybrid of an LT/Sport

my dad actually said the same thing about the bank and getting them to do a re-loan but i'm going to go in and see what can be done.

when i spoke to one of the salesmen on the phone about the yellow balt he asked if i had a trade and i told him about my car and how it had some slight exterior appearance mods and a re-done interior and he seemed pretty interested in it. so im sure i can use it with the silver car instead. im going to go wash it up nice before i go to the dealership because right now my red car is brown. winter ftl.
