Settling This Once and for All...

So my dad likes to go on, and on, and on about how much he knows about the Cobalt . Anyways, this is what he thinks:

The coupe is 1.5ft longer than the sedan.
The 09 2.2 engine is a completely different engine from the previous series. (I know there is a minor change, same engine tho)
The coupe comes with a completely different engine than the sedan.
The sedan uses the Cavalier frame (this one I'm not sure on I don't comment).
Sedan sits 1.5in higher than coupe stock.

So is he the know it all he comes off as he is? lol

What I think:

Same length, after 07 there was a minor engine change, coupes/sedans= same 2.2 engine, don't know about the frame, same height except for the back roof of the sedan is elongated- but not higher.

haha! yeah anyone that thinks a cobalt has an actual frame probably doesn't know much about cars lol.

I can't imagine that the sedan sits higher than a coupe because my coupe was hardcore 4x4 before the B&G springs lol.

not sure about the length difference, never even thought about it lol.

and why does he even care about such trivial things anyway? I could care less about that stuff haha. Not to be bashing him or anything but he sounds like one of those "know it all's" lol

This reminds I wasnt arguing with this guy I know because I wasnt sure if he was right or wrong, but he said the cobalts have the same suspension as the cavaliers and the springs, and struts are all the same, is he right?

dont cobalts and hhr's have the same frame? lol. and i also think sedans sit a tad bit lower than coupe's but thats just from what i see, i havent researched it or anything. the sedan might be a tad bit longer than the coupe, but cant be much, even though the sedan's look smaller than the coupes. and as for the engine, tiny tiny changes.
