Extended Warranty Transferable?

I wonder if the GM extended warranty is transferable? My Mom purchased warranty clear up to 2014/70K. I thought I saw somewhere that there is a $50 transfer fee, but maybe Mother to Son transfer is free? I hope...my funds are getting low, but even $50 isn't a bad price to retain maximum GM warranty coverage!

You should call the number on the warranty. Most will not transfer for family any more than non family, but they may do it for free given the circumstances...

Just called...full transfer is possible, just need to pay the $50 fee. This is one $50 payment I won't mind, I like having peace of mind until 2014!
