Plastic on Handle Recall?

I don't think it's a recall, but I've noticed that that cheap, chrome, plastic sticker on both my passenger and drivers side door handle is pealing. I know I'm not the only one and thought there could be a way to see if this can be fixed due to a recall.

The NHTSA does not list ANY recalls on the 2008 (OP's model year) Cobalt at all.

you could always re-wrap it in something different or the same thing... that carbon fiber wrap stuff from 3M would look cool i think.. well that just made me want to do it to mine.
