Finally Got Our Cobalt!

Hi people,

Well, it finally arrived....from about 3-4 states away, Dealer trucked it in. red 2 dr, 1LT, my link and sport packages. Ebony interior. I know it doesnt have the VROOOOOOM engine, but I wanted the regular high mileage one. Oh, STICK SHIFT TRANSMISSION!

So far, only 2 tiny paint imperfections.....one was factory, debris in paint, as it is stuck/embedded in paint. Other was a tiny chip off the body. Im bringing it back to service for them to fix it right. I had to tell them to wash off the dried up bird dooley that was on the driver side, about 4-5 splats on window/paint.

So far, I cant figure out why the owners manual says the trunk/lift gate can be opened by a "button" at driv side, left knee padding area. No such thing on my Cobalt. Anybody know where is the mysterious button?

Its a neat car!

Tanks!

Congrats. The button is a little hidden, you know, like a ninja button. There is a door by your left leg. It pulls out to reveal a little cup type pocket. The button is in the trim above the pocket, on the left side. You have to open the pocket to find the button.

The button is in the little flip down thing on your car by your left knee. It is inside the pull down area.

It's in it's own little cubby with a door, by the driver door. On the left, go down from the trim and you'll find the little door (it pulls down) and the button is in the upper left corner.

has basically dropped off the face of the planet... moved and still havent had internet installed at the new place
